Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Jake Anthony Red, and something that's been weighing heavily on my mind is the emotional toll on his family - especially his siblings. Jake was the eldest of four, and I can't even begin to imagine the void his loss has left in their lives. Growing up, having an older sibling can be such a guiding light, and losing that is unimaginably tough.
I've always believed that family plays a crucial role during times of grief, but I hope that the Red family has a strong support system around them to help navigate through this difficult time. If anyone knows of any ways the community can offer support to Jake’s siblings or highlight organizations that provide resources for families affected by such tragedies, it would be wonderful to share them here. Love and strength to the Red family and to anyone else who finds themselves in similar heartache.
Take care, everyone.

Just got chills thinking about how much Jake's family has gone through since his tragic passing. He was the oldest sibling, which makes me think about the kind of role model he must have been. It's gut-wrenching to consider how his younger siblings are coping without their big brother around. With all the legal stuff and media attention, I hope they have a strong support system to get through this incredibly difficult time. Losing someone, especially to violence, can leave scars that last a lifetime. Hope the community rallies around them. ? Anyone know if there are any foundations or initiatives started in Jake’s memory to address gang violence? Might be a good way to channel grief into something positive. Stay strong, Red family. We’re rooting for you.
