I can't stop thinking about those poor dogs that were found near Geralyn and David Covey's property. It's terrifying to imagine what they might have witnessed during that awful time. Animals can often sense when something terrible is happening, and I can't help but wonder how frightened they must have been. It's a small silver lining that they were found safe, but I hope they get lots of love and care after going through such a traumatic experience. My heart goes out to the Covey family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. It’s so important that those who knew the Coveys and loved them rally around the families and take care of each other right now. I still can't believe how such a terrible tragedy could happen in a close-knit community like theirs. I hope Harrington is found soon so that this community feels some sense of safety again.
