I recently read about Carl Bridgmon's tragic passing, and I can't stop thinking about how his final moments were captured on video. It's incredibly chilling to know that he was there to enjoy a peaceful moment at the park, not knowing that he would unwittingly document his last moments. The notion that someone's routine day could end like that is haunting. My heart goes out to his family and friends, who not only lost a loved one but have that unsettling footage as a part of their memory. This case is just another sombre reminder of the violence lurking in our communities and how innocent lives can be affected by other people's reckless actions. Kudos to the responders and police who have worked tirelessly to track down and arrest the suspects, but I hope we as a community can also delve deeper into addressing the root causes of such violence. Stay strong, Bridgmon family. You have a lot of people thinking about you and hoping for justice.
