Did anyone else catch the detail about the guardrail? It's such a chilling reminder of how violent and detailed the crime scene must have been. Just imagining the amount of gunshots it took to create those bullet holes makes my skin crawl. The location in the North Cascades must have seemed so serene, and to have such a horrific event happen there... it's unsettling. My heart goes out to the friends and family of Robert Thomson. This sort of violence within a family is especially tragic. It’s tough to comprehend what drives someone to such lengths. I hope the investigation can bring some closure to those affected by this tragedy. Anyone know if they’re organizing any memorial for him in Rockport?

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Robert Thomson's murder, and I can't stop thinking about the investigation details that emerged around John's arrest. It's baffling to me how someone could get to that point with their own family member. I read somewhere that John had initially denied hearing any gunshots, even though the evidence was right there in his car. It makes me wonder about the mental state he was in at the time. I imagine the whole community must be grappling with this double tragedy – not just losing Robert but also coming to terms with John's actions. Does anyone from the area have a sense of how folks are dealing with this split between supporting the remaining family and grieving over Robert? My thoughts are with the Thomson family as they navigate through this painful situation. It's just so devastating when trust and safety within a family are shattered like this.

Hey everyone, I've been following the Robert Thomson case and something that's been on my mind is how this crime has impacted the Rockport community. The area is known for its tight-knit community, and I can only imagine the shock and sadness everyone is experiencing. It's not every day that such a peaceful place faces something so terrible. I wonder how the community is supporting Robert’s close friends and family through this nightmare. It’s really tough to fathom how they must feel, having to not only get through the loss of a loved one but also knowing it was at the hands of his own brother. Truly a devastating situation. Has anyone here heard of any local support efforts or vigils being organized in the area? It might be comforting to hear about how this close community is coming together during such a difficult time. Sending strength to those affected.
