Hey everyone, I was thinking about John Edward Cole's unusual disappearance and something really curious struck me. It's been such a long time since he went missing, yet no one seems to mention anything about sightings beyond Big Creek Bridge. Isn’t it odd that there weren’t any sightings or evidence of him after that point? Given how distinct he looks with the tip of his left thumb missing, you’d think he would be easier to spot or remember. Do you think it’s possible that someone else picked him up after he crossed the bridge? Maybe someone offered him a ride? I know he used to take long walks, but it sounds odd for there to be zero leads past that last sighting. I wonder if there are any surveillance cameras near there or if they checked with people passing by that day. Really keen to hear your thoughts or if anyone local to Taney County has more insights. Keep thinking positive and hope for some answers soon.
