Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled upon some articles about the tragic cases in Louisville from the summer of '83, and I can't help but think about the restless nights the families must have endured for so long. Something that struck me is the fact that Deborah Miles, Yolanda Sweeney, and Pamela Armstrong were all young women with so much life ahead of them. It's chilling how all three were in such close proximity when these horrors took place. It makes me wonder about the climate of the area during that summer. Were there any warnings or heightened concerns in western Louisville neighborhoods back then? It's chilling to imagine the fear that must have been felt by women in the community at the time.
I can't imagine the pain the families went through, especially given the series of legal battles and overturned convictions over the years. It must have been exhausting, holding onto hope for justice despite all the setbacks. It truly shows the resilience of those affected by these awful events.
Thinking of Deborah and the other victims and hoping their families find peace.
Stay safe, everyone.
