I was reading about the Standard Gravure shooting again, and I couldn't help but feel for Lloyd Ray White's family, especially hearing how he was such an integral part of their lives as a coach and father. It's astonishing how one person's actions can ripple through so many lives. I’ve been thinking about the impact of workplace violence and how it changes communities. Decades later, these families continue to bear the weight of what happened. "Whitey" seemed like such a positive force, and it's tragic that his life was cut short in such a senseless way. I often wonder how his family copes, and how we, as a community, can better support people touched by similar tragedies. Anyone else have thoughts on how we can better prevent these kinds of incidents and support their families in the aftermath?
