Has anyone else been following D'Angelo Wilson's case? My heart goes out to his family during this incredibly difficult time. I've been thinking a lot about the role the justice system played in the plea deal. It's frustrating to see a young life cut short and then feel like justice wasn't fully served with the 11-year sentence. I understand the legal complications, but it just seems like such a small price to pay for such a devastating outcome. I'm curious how others here feel about these kinds of plea bargains. Do they actually bring any comfort or closure to the families, or do they simply add to the pain?
