Hey everyone, I’ve been following Anthony Carter’s case, and I can’t help but think about the kids in the neighborhood where this tragedy happened. Growing up surrounded by violence can leave a lasting impact. I read somewhere that when a neighborhood becomes known for such incidents, it can create a cycle that’s hard to break out of. It’s just so sad to think about the missed potential and the fear that must permeate daily life. I really hope that there are organizations stepping up to provide support and create safer environments for these communities. It's important to address not just the crime, but also the conditions that allow it to thrive. My heart goes out to Anthony's family and everyone affected by the violence in Chicago.
