Listening to the stories of families torn apart by violence is always gut-wrenching, and the case of Bill Russell Collins is no exception. I can’t help but wonder about the getaway vehicle aspect, though. Jennifer Gayle Jernigan’s role as the driver raises so many questions in my mind. What drives a person to get involved in something like this? Was she aware of what was going down, or was she somehow coerced into it? It's chilling to think about how a decision in a split second can lead down such a dark path for everyone involved. You have to feel for Bill's family—I hope they find some comfort as the justice system continues to unravel all the details.
