Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the time and place of Kipoyo Portas’s murder, and it just puzzles me. The incident happened around 4 a.m. near the Thoroughbred Lounge, which raises so many questions for me. Why would someone target him in such an early hour? Was it random, or could someone have been following him? I read that Kipoyo was the kind of person who went out of his way to help others, which seems to suggest it wouldn't take much for someone to take advantage of his kindness. I can't even imagine what his family, especially his brother Portas, must be going through. Kipoyo sounded like a devoted father and brother; his girls must dearly miss him. If anyone is familiar with Louisville or has insights into what the area is like at that time of night, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Maybe there’s something we’re overlooking that could shed light on this tragic incident. My thoughts are with his family and the community as they continue to seek answers. Hoping for some breakthroughs soon so they can have the closure they deserve.
