I've been following this case since it happened, and while my heart goes out to Trooper Ponder's loved ones, I can't help but wonder how the presence of the suspect's children during the incident might have impacted his decisions that night. It's terrifying to think they witnessed such a traumatic event. Those kids have likely gone through so much already, and now they must grapple with understanding what happened. I hope there's a strong support system in place for them to cope with this tragedy. Anyone know if there's been any follow-up on how those kids are doing now or if they received the help they needed?
