It's been a bit since I've thought about the Neighbors case, but it still weighs heavily on me. I knew Tabitha from our church, and I can recall how involved and kind-hearted she always was. She had an incredible way of making even newcomers feel welcomed at Meadowland Baptist. It's still hard to wrap my head around how someone could have done something so awful to such a lovely person. The tragedy on Wayne Watt Road has certainly left a void, and every time I drive by there, I can't help but feel a profound sense of loss. If there's any silver lining to find here, it's the community's response. Since that terrible night, there has been more conversation and effort to address domestic violence in Bowling Green, which is crucial. We owe it to Tabitha to keep these discussions alive and ensure that others might find the support and safety they need. My heart goes out to her family, friends, and all who were touched by her warmth and generosity. Let's remember Tabitha for the joy she brought to those around her and, in her memory, strive to make a change.

Hey everyone, I wanted to talk about something that's been on my mind since hearing about the tragedy in Bowling Green. It's the blue cedar house on Wayne Watt Road where Tabitha and Joseph Neighbors lived. I've driven past that house a few times, and it's hard to shake off the somber feeling it gives now, knowing what happened there. I read that Tabitha was active in her church and worked at Magna, and it seems like she left a deep impact on those around her. It’s so important for us to keep the focus on who she was, rather than only the tragedy of her passing. It's beyond comprehension how domestic violence can lead to such heartbreaking outcomes. I’ve seen a lot of discussions around the need for community support and intervention programs, and it’s true—these things need more attention. Please, if you or someone you know is in a difficult situation, reach out for support. We need to take these issues seriously to prevent future tragedies. My heart goes out to Tabitha’s family and friends—let’s hope they get the support they need during this impossibly tough time.

Has anyone else heard about the candlelight vigil the Meadowland Baptist Church held for Tabitha Neighbors? I wasn't able to attend, but a friend told me it was a deeply moving tribute. It's so vital in these tragic times for the community to come together and support all those affected. Her involvement with the church seemed to mean so much to her, which really shows the importance of a strong community network in helping to prevent tragedies like this. I didn’t know her personally, but stories from friends and colleagues paint a picture of someone who was caring and kind. If anyone attended, I’d love to hear more about how it went. It’s a reminder that we need more awareness around domestic violence prevention. Stay safe and reach out for help if you or anyone you know is in danger.
