I've been following the Monticello case, and it just feels so surreal and deeply unsettling. I find myself thinking about their kids, Eric Shaun and Tessa Renee, a lot. Losing both parents so tragically must be an unimaginable burden. I can't help but wonder if the community is rallying around them and their children, providing the support they desperately need right now.
Also, the whole officer-involved shooting part of it must have been terrifying. Those deputies likely never imagined they'd be part of something like this when they started their shifts that day. It's something that will stick with them, too. Let's hope that the continued investigations bring some clarity to why this happened and that everyone affected can eventually find some kind of peace. If anyone here is local and knows of ways to help the family, please share. It would be great for the community here to do something positive in honor of the Dolens.
I've been following the investigations into the Dolen family tragedy, and I cannot stop thinking about the children and grandchildren who now have to process this unimaginable loss. The devastation of losing not just one, but multiple family members in such a brutal manner must be so painful. Living in a close-knit community like Oil Valley can often mean having strong support systems, but it also means that the shockwaves of this incident ripple through everyone.
It’s clear that many are wondering about what led to this senseless violence. Without a motive, it's hard to find any semblance of closure. I hope the ongoing investigations can shed some light on this dark situation for the sake of those left to piece their lives back together. The community is clearly grieving with them, and hopefully, they can feel the outpouring of love and support. If anyone else has any insights or thoughts, I’d love to hear them. We can only hope that answers come to light soon.
