I've been following Deontae Sims' case and can't help but feel so deeply for his loved ones, especially because the details around what happened are so sparse. It must be incredibly difficult for his family not to have closure or answers. I noticed there's been little to no information shared by law enforcement, and that raises so many questions. Does anyone know if there's been any community-led efforts to push for more transparency or investigation into his death? Sometimes, community advocacy can shine a light on these cases and bring about some action. Sending all my thoughts to Deontae’s family and friends as they navigate this painful time.
