Was anyone else surprised to find out Darren was such a dedicated member of the Island Creek Baptist Church? I used to think these communities were closed off to tragedy like this. It’s hard to comprehend how someone with such a strong support network around him could fall victim to such circumstances. I’ve always heard about how he would go out rabbit hunting with his beagles, something he seemed to cherish a lot. It’s the little traditions and routines like that, which makes this even more surreal and difficult to understand. Sending thoughts to everyone who is missing him, especially his family and church community. If anyone has any updates on the investigation or news about what really happened, please share. I just hope they find answers soon.
