Hey everyone,
I haven't been able to stop thinking about the memorial that was held for Amarius Winstead and Jasper Brown last week. From what I've heard, it was an incredibly moving tribute to their short lives. The outpouring of love and support from the community was truly touching. Both families have been through so much, and seeing everyone come together must have meant the world to them.
It's so hard to imagine the pain of losing a child, especially in such a senseless act of violence. My heart goes out to Tyler Glover as well—he's been through a lot physically and emotionally, and I hope he continues to heal.
I just hope anyone with information comes forward soon. These families deserve answers and some semblance of peace. As a community, we need to keep the pressure on and bring justice for Amarius and Jasper.

It's been a few months since that awful night on Crisp Road, and my heart really goes out to the families of Amarius and Jasper. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they're going through. What struck me recently is how this kind of violence affects not just the immediate families, but the entire community. I read somewhere that Amarius was a big part of his school's basketball team and a role model to younger kids. It’s devastating to think about all the people who looked up to him and are now left with this emptiness.
It's so frustrating to see that there's still no suspect in custody. I'm hoping someone out there knows something and finds the courage to come forward. In a tight-knit community like Whitesville, keeping this quiet only perpetuates the cycle of violence. If we want to see change, we need to stand together and support the investigators by sharing any information, no matter how small it seems.
