Reading about Trinity Randolph's case really shook me. The fact that this senseless act ended the lives of both a young dad and his precious little girl is so hard to grasp. I can't stop thinking about Trinity's great-grandmother, Valerie Randolph, and the rest of the family. Losing someone so young, with an entire life ahead, must be agonizing. It's comforting to see the community showing up to support them, but it raises such a crucial point — there's got to be more we can do to tackle this gun violence issue in Louisville. What efforts are ongoing in our community to prevent more tragedies like this? It's essential to honor Trinity’s memory with action, not just words.
