I've been digging into the circumstances surrounding Matthew Seng's tragic passing, and I keep coming back to his love for baseball. It's so poignant to hear how Matthew was an all-star at Fern Creek Ball Park—I can only imagine the countless games where he brought the community together with his talent and sportsmanship.
It’s just really awful to think that someone who was so giving and full of life—and had such a deep connection with his community—had his life cut short in such a violent way. There are many people out there who share fond memories of his time on the field, and this loss must have left such a profound void. As the investigation unfolds, my heart goes out to his family, friends, and the Louisville community, who are all undoubtedly feeling the weight of this tragedy.
