Hey everyone, I've been following John William Johnston's case, and something that's been nagging at me is the abandoned car detail. It's strange how his keys were left in the ashtray. Has anyone else seen this in other cases where someone disappears? It makes me wonder if he left it there intentionally, or if it was just an oversight because he was in a rush or stressed. The location of where his car was found is so remote, too. The fact that all his belongings were left there except for his backpack is curious. It's like he planned to walk off somewhere. For anyone familiar with the area near High Steel Bridge, is it common for people to explore on foot there, or is it more of a driving destination? Just trying to piece together why he might have left his car like that... thoughts?
