I've been following the case of Daniel Austin Binder's tragic death, and something that's been weighing on my mind is the impact this must have on his family, especially considering this all started over a child custody issue. It's just so sad that a situation meant to bring clarity and resolution could spiral so viciously out of control. The loss for the child involved is unimaginable—losing a father in such a violent manner and having it tied to what probably should have been a conversation about their well-being. I keep thinking back to Daniel going to that house, hoping to sort things out, never anticipating the danger lurking. Being a parent myself, I can’t even begin to wrap my head around the pain and confusion the child must be feeling now. I hope the community can come together to provide some support for the child and Daniel's family during such an unimaginable time. Sending strength and love their way.
