Has anyone else been thinking about Daniel Darden's family lately? I can't imagine the pain they must have felt not only through the ordeal of losing him but also during the day-to-day reminders of his absence. And with the trial and sentencing of Robert Pence, that must have been an emotional rollercoaster for them all over again. The fact that the crime was tied to a robbery complicates things even more, making it hard to separate justice from tragedy. I wonder how they're coping and if they got any closure from the sentence. My heart genuinely goes out to them. It’s just so sad to think about how this incident not only took someone's life but also changed so many others forever. I hope the community has rallied around them with support.
