Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Derrick Robinson II? It's really unsettling how violence seems to be escalating in areas like Bardstown Road. I can't imagine what his family must be going through right now. What gets me is how the prior incident between Derrick and Larry Hinkle seems to have escalated to such a horrible point. It's eerie to think that this might have been preventable if someone had intervened earlier. There's talk about rolling back bar hours, and while that might help reduce late-night issues, I wonder what can be done to address the root causes of these disputes. What do you think would be the best approach to prevent such tragedies in the future? My thoughts are with Derrick’s family and friends during this traumatic time.
