I’ve been reading through the threads about Deputy Alex Spencer, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Something I keep thinking about is the emotional toll this tragedy must have had on his wife, Brittany, and their two young sons, Zander and Kendall. Losing a partner and parent so unexpectedly is unimaginable. Alex seemed like a genuinely dedicated and passionate person, both in his career and personal life. His commitment to his community through the sheriff’s department and his pursuits in karate and weightlifting speak volumes about his character. I hope they have a strong support system rallying around them during this incredibly difficult time. It makes you want to hug your loved ones a little tighter.
