Has anyone else been thinking about the timeline of events in this case? I’ve been reading everything I can find about Deborah McGee’s murder, and something keeps nagging at me. David Slagle was last seen on KY-107 near the Todd County/Logan County line, and they managed to apprehend him just the very next day. It’s impressive how quickly they acted, but I wonder if there are more details about his movements or if anyone saw anything unusual around that area. If there are any locals on this forum, did you notice a significant police presence or anything out of the ordinary before his arrest? It might help piece together the timeline and understand how the law enforcement agencies coordinated so efficiently. My thoughts go out to Deborah’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Losing a loved one in such a violent way is unimaginable, and I truly hope for justice and peace for them.
Has anyone looked into the background of David Odeal Slagle? It's baffling how someone could have done something so terrible. From what I've gathered, his name came up almost immediately, but I haven't seen much discussion on his past or any potential motives. Could there have been any connection between him and Deborah? It feels like such a tight-knit community like Clifty would have all sorts of ties or maybe underlying tensions that outsiders might not be aware of. This tragedy is unbelievably hard on Deborah’s family and friends, and I can't imagine what they're going through. It just makes me wonder if knowing more about Slagle's history might shed some light on why this shocking event occurred.
