I was reading about Jermaine Wolo's case, and one detail that really sticks out to me is the location of the incident. The fact that Jermaine was shot at the Station J-Town apartments is puzzling. I've lived near Louisville for a while, and the area around Tree Lane in Jeffersontown is usually pretty quiet. It's unsettling to think such violence occurred there. And for Jermaine to have been able to run that distance after being shot—it's heartbreaking to think of him struggling in those final moments.
