I can't stop thinking about little Kenneth Dehler and his sister, Anna Mae. It's hard to wrap my mind around how anything like this could happen to children. From what I've read, the small town of Buckman must have been shaken to its core. I know that during that time, talking about mental health wasn't common, but I can't help but wonder what kind of support the surviving community members had. At just 5 and 10 years old, these kids had their whole lives ahead of them, and it's agonizing to think about what they endured. If anyone has more information or theories about how the investigation was handled or why it seems to have faded from public view, please share. I feel like this story, and these children, deserve more attention. Keeping the Dehler family in my thoughts tonight.

I've been researching the Dehler family tragedy, and it absolutely chills me to think about the fear and confusion Kenneth and his sister, Anna Mae, must have experienced. At just 5 and 10 years old, they were innocent victims caught up in such a senseless act. I'm really curious about the community's response back then—were there any leads or suspects that the townspeople discussed or speculated about? Also, it's noteworthy that there isn't much mention of surviving family members. Did any extended family come forward, and how did the community rally together to support those left behind? I genuinely hope they received the love and care they needed in the aftermath of this awful incident.
