I've been thinking a lot about Neva Jane Winnecoup Rogers, especially how dedicated she was as a teacher. Her willingness to stand up for her students, even in the face of such danger, shows just how much she truly cared about them. It's beyond devastating to think about. Stories like hers really put into perspective the risks teachers take to ensure the safety and well-being of their students. She should be remembered as a hero for her incredible bravery that day.
