Hey all,
I was digging through some old newspaper clippings online about the Linda Green case and something struck me about the location—Osakis is such a small town. You'd think a community like that would have more whispers or local lore surrounding such an event. Is there anyone here familiar with the area who might shed light on whether this case has become a bit of an urban legend or if locals just don't talk about it? It's strange to think that something as violent as a murder could almost fade into obscurity in a tight-knit place like that. It must be so hard for her family and friends not to have answers after all this time. Hoping someone here might have more insight or even just thoughts on how cases like these often go cold in smaller communities.

Thanks,
A Curious Wanderer
I've been following the case of Linda Green for a while now, and it's so sad how little closure there seems to be. What really strikes me is the impact this must have had on the Osakis community—it's such a small town, and something like this can leave a lasting scar. Does anyone know if there were any community efforts or vigils held for Linda after her death? Sometimes those events bring out details that don't make it into official reports. My heart goes out to her family and friends who must still be seeking answers after all these years. If anyone has any insights or thoughts, I'd appreciate hearing them.
