I’ve been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage from Born’s Bar. It’s terrifying how much can happen in just a few moments. It must be incredibly difficult for Carlos's family to watch, knowing that the whole incident was recorded. On one hand, it’s crucial evidence that supports the charges against Frye and Reynolds, but on the other, it’s such a painful reminder of what happened that night. Surveillance footage can be such a complex piece of evidence. It doesn’t show emotions or intentions—just actions. I can’t help but wonder how often people feel conflicted about its role in investigations. For Carlos's family and friends, I hope it brings some level of closure and justice, even though I know nothing can truly make up for their loss.
