I've been following the Mychael Kendrick case since it happened, and something that's been sticking out to me is the lack of witnesses. It just doesn't sit right with me that no one seems to have seen or heard anything, especially at a house party. There’s always someone stepping outside for air, or a stray person who couldn’t sleep and noticed an odd noise. I keep thinking about the tight-knit residential area there—houses so close you’d expect to overhear conversations, let alone a gunshot. It's puzzling, and my heart goes out to his family for having to endure this silence and uncertainty. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful not to have answers, especially knowing there might be loose threads someone, somewhere, has yet to tug on. Here's hoping someone finds the courage to speak up soon. If you were around that morning and noticed anything, no matter how insignificant it seemed at the time, it might just be the piece of the puzzle that leads to justice for Mychael and his loved ones.

It's so unsettling to think that there were no reports of gunshots being heard, even though Mychael was struck while standing near a window. It makes me wonder how someone could have fired a shot without drawing any attention. Were there any sounds that were masked by the party noise, or was there some other factor that kept folks from noticing? It’s a chilling thought. My heart goes out to Mychael's family, especially his young children, who will now grow up without their dad. ?
