Hello all, I've been thinking a lot about the mental health aspect of the Petrovich case. It's absolutely devastating to see how untreated mental illness can have such a catastrophic impact on families. From what’s been shared, Alexander might have been suffering from unchecked paranoid schizophrenia. It’s tragic to think about what might have been different if he had the support and intervention he needed. Janice clearly dedicated her life to helping others at the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. She was someone who made a real difference in the lives of many, and it’s just so incredibly sad that mental health resources didn't reach her own household. It's incidents like these that highlight the importance of mental health awareness and accessibility to care. This family’s story is a heartbreaking reminder of the importance of staying vigilant and compassionate toward those who may be silently struggling. My heart goes out to anyone who knew and loved Janice, Jack, and Alexander. It’s a heavy loss for the community. Does anyone know if any mental health initiatives have been set up in their memory?
