I'm thinking about Maricio's family and friends who must be struggling with all of this right now, especially since this happened on what's usually a fun holiday. I was just reading about the trajectory of the bullet that hit Maricio. It's hard to fathom how anyone could accept the explanation about the shooting being accidental after learning about the path the bullet took. For me, the fact that the trajectory didn't match Villalva's story raises a lot of questions. It's so troubling to think that someone from the same community could end up causing such harm.
