I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how important community support is during tragic times like this. Edwin Lydell Vaughn Jr., who many knew and loved, was senselessly taken away way too soon. It's incredibly sad to see how violence has affected not just one family, but the entire neighborhood. It seems like just yesterday the hope was that these violent weekends would not become the norm. From what I've read, the authorities are calling for anyone with info to step forward, and I can't stress enough how crucial that is. Sharing even the smallest detail might help prevent another family from going through the same agony. I can't even begin to imagine what Edwin's family is going through right now, but it emphasizes why it's important for us to stand together and support one another when violence strikes this close to home. Sending strength to everyone impacted, and hoping for swift justice for Edwin. If anyone hears updates or wants to talk, this forum can be a place for us to come together and support each other.
