Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the role Robert West played in the horrific murder of Richard Balsimo. Given his involvement in the dismemberment and disposal of Richard's remains, it's just baffling to me how someone could be part of such a violent act, even if they weren't the one who pulled the trigger. I know he got 15 years for being an accessory, but it makes me wonder about the kind of influence or fear Jacob Johnson might have had over him. What was going through his mind during those awful moments? It's just so hard to imagine being anywhere near a situation like that and going along with it. My heart really goes out to Richard's family as they grapple with the weight of all these layers of betrayal and brutality. They deserve every bit of support as they continue to fight for justice. Anyone else have thoughts on how these accomplices are treated in the justice system compared to the primary perpetrators?
