Has anyone else been keeping up with the Blake Swanson case on Raspberry Island? My heart goes out to his girlfriend who had to witness such a terrifying event. I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma she’s going through. It's so frustrating that no arrests have been made yet. It just eats away at you to think someone out there knows something and hasn't come forward. I really hope that the community can come together and help provide any leads to the police. We need to keep this case in the public eye and push for justice for Blake and his loved ones. Does anyone in the St. Paul area know if there have been any vigils or community gatherings in his memory?

I can't stop thinking about how close Evan Meide must feel to this tragedy, having just stepped away to rent that scooter. It must be incredibly surreal and difficult for him, knowing that something so horrific happened in the brief moment he wasn't there. I really hope he's getting the support he needs, not only to process his own trauma but to be there for Blake's girlfriend as well. It's terrifying to think about how quickly a situation can turn deadly, and I'm deeply concerned that the perpetrator is still out there. The lack of any detailed suspect information is really frustrating. It makes you wonder how safe anyone can feel when out in the city if someone can do something this violent and disappear without a trace. My thoughts are with Blake's family, his girlfriend, and everyone affected by this senseless violence. I hope someone out there remembers seeing something—even the smallest detail could be crucial in catching the person responsible. Anyone who knows something should definitely come forward. Raspberry Island is a popular spot, especially on weekends, so there's a chance someone might have caught a glimpse of the suspect or something suspicious. Let's hope for some progress soon in the investigation.
