I've been following the Jerden case and can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on our community. I didn’t know Sandy and Michael personally, but I've heard nothing but kind words about them, especially from those who shopped at the Price Chopper where Sandy worked. It's heartbreaking to think someone could do something so violent and senseless. It’s frustrating how there still hasn't been any solid leads or arrests. The news updates have been few and far between, leaving a lot of us in the dark about what might have happened. I can only imagine the pain their family and friends are enduring as they wait for justice. It’s scary to think the person who did this is still out there. For anyone who lives nearby, let's keep our eyes and ears open. If you’ve heard anything unusual around the time of June 8 or have any details, no matter how small they may seem, please consider contacting authorities. We owe it to Sandy, Michael, and their loved ones to help bring closure to this tragic event.
