I've been following the Michael and Sandy Jerden case for some time now and can't help but wonder about the potential motives behind such a senseless act. It makes me think about the kind of person who would go as far as to commit murder and then try to cover it up with a fire. Clearly, there was a level of planning involved, but why? Did they have any known enemies or disputes that might have escalated to this point? I also wonder if there might have been any financial incentives for someone to want them gone. Michael and Sandy seemed well-loved by their community from what I've read, which makes this even more perplexing. I continue to hope that anyone who might know something, even the smallest detail, comes forward. The Jerdens deserve justice, and closure is something their family and friends have been waiting for far too long.
