I've been reading through the threads about Joseph "Joey" Nelson, and it's clear how deeply this has affected the Junction City community. One thing that caught my eye was the location where Joey was found—just a regular park, a place where children play and families gather. It's unsettling to think about such a terrible event happening in a spot that's supposed to be safe and filled with joy. It makes me wonder if anyone nearby saw or heard anything unusual in the days leading up to the discovery. Parks often have a lot of foot traffic, especially with people walking dogs or families spending time together. Maybe someone noticed something odd but didn’t think it was significant at the time. If there's anyone out there who might recall anything from late November 2016, it could be worth revisiting those memories. Even the smallest detail might shine a light on what happened to Joey and bring the closure that his family and friends so desperately need. To his loved ones, I'm sending strength and hope as the search for answers continues.
