I've been following Cristian Escutia's case, and something that's just stuck with me is how bold these criminals were. The whole kidnapping was actually captured on a neighbor's security camera! It's chilling to think that something so horrific can be recorded and yet, in those crucial moments, nothing could stop these men from going through with their plan. I can only imagine the pain and terror Cristian felt. I hope that having this evidence has helped bring some justice to Cristian’s family, even though nothing can fully mend their loss. My heart really goes out to them. How bizarre and terrifying that such clear footage didn't prevent this tragedy. ?

Has anyone else noticed the chilling lack of remorse from both Bravo-Lopez and Osorio throughout the trial? It's unbelievable to think about how they carried out such a violent, premeditated crime and didn't show any visible regret or emotion. My heart goes out to Cristian Escutia's family and friends who had to endure not only the pain of losing him but also the agony of seeing those who caused his death acting so cold and indifferent. Trials often bring closure, but seeing such callousness can make healing even harder. I can't even begin to fathom what his loved ones must be feeling.
