I’ve been following the case of Penny Nelson’s tragic death, and something that just won’t leave my mind is the role of family dynamics in these situations. It’s incredibly unsettling to think about how someone’s own brother could be involved in such an act. I can’t even begin to imagine the grief and confusion Penny’s family must be going through, losing two loved ones in such a violent way. It's a somber reminder of how complicated and hidden family issues can sometimes lead to these unthinkable outcomes. I hope that if anything positive can come from this, it's that we all become more aware of the warning signs and find ways to support friends or family members who might be struggling. Sending love to everyone affected by this horrible tragedy.
