It's really tragic to think about the impact Lucy Mojica's murder had on her children and family. I can’t imagine the pain they endured through this nightmare. It must have been incredibly difficult for them during those two long years when the suspect was still on the run. The uncertainty and fear must have been relentless. Her kids? They must be so strong to keep moving forward after everything. I wonder how they're coping now. I hope they’re finding some peace and maybe even some kind of new normal. It’s some small comfort that justice was served, but nothing can ever make up for losing someone in such a violent way. My thoughts are with them as they continue to heal.
