I’ve been following Alicia Gonzalez's case since it first hit the news in Albuquerque. It's baffling how little info has been released. Has anyone else noticed how quickly some cases get media coverage and how others, like Alicia's, seem to fade into the background? I wonder if her story would have more traction if it had more exposure early on. I read all the time how crucial the first 48 hours are, and it makes me think — what more could we do to keep local cases like hers in the public eye? Her family is trying everything to spread the word. Maybe organizing community events or social media campaigns can help keep the momentum going. What do you guys think?
Hey everyone, I stumbled across Alicia Gonzalez's case from Albuquerque and wanted to bring up something I found a bit puzzling. From my digging, it seems like there were no reported sightings or major leads right after she went missing, even though it’s been over three years since March 2020. For a 16-year-old, you'd think there'd be more media coverage or even some tips coming in, right?
Does anyone know if there was any organized search effort by the local community or surrounding areas back then? It feels like her case hasn't gotten the attention it deserves, which is so frustrating. I keep hoping for any sliver of a development. If anyone from the area could shed some light on how the community has been involved, it'd be much appreciated. Let's keep Alicia in our thoughts and continue spreading the word!
