Has anyone else thought about how long it took for Mario Sandoval Jr.'s trial to actually begin? It's so concerning that it was nearly three years after Austen's tragic death before it even commenced. My heart goes out to Austen's family and his young son. The wait for justice must have been agonizing for them. Not only do they have to deal with the pain of losing Austen, but they also have to navigate the slow-moving justice system. I'm curious if this kind of delay is typical in cases like this, especially when the community is likely eagerly awaiting resolution. How do others think this impacts the grieving process for his family and friends?
