Hey everyone, I'm really puzzled about something in Steven Mencer's disappearance. I read a few articles and saw some discussions about the weather conditions at the time he went overboard. Does anyone know how common it is for someone to fall into the water while near the docks, even in rough weather? I mean, I understand that the seas can be treacherous, but I'm specifically curious if there's something about docking procedures or other factors that make it riskier than it might seem at first glance. I've never worked on a fishing vessel, so I'm trying to wrap my head around how these accidents could happen. Would love to hear from anyone with experience or knowledge in this area!
