I've been following the Topeka shootings closely, and one detail that really sticks with me is the proximity of the incidents. The fact that Harry Jenkins was found shot on S.W. Clay, while Crystal Andrews and young Mercedes Holford were tragically killed just five blocks away on S.W. 5th, makes me wonder if there's some connection or if these are completely unrelated events. It's terrifying to think about how quickly these events unfolded within just six hours of each other. I can't even imagine what the families of the victims must be going through right now. It's frustrating that there are still no suspects or leads, but I hope the police will soon make a breakthrough.
