Hi everybody, I’ve been following the details surrounding Damarco Powell’s case, and it’s truly unsettling to see how many of these situations remain unsolved. One aspect that really haunts me is the level of fear in communities experiencing gang-related violence. I can’t help but think about how many potential witnesses might have crucial information but are too afraid to come forward. It’s such a difficult position for them to be in, understandably prioritizing their safety. But without witnesses, cases like Powell's remain cold, leaving families with more questions than answers. Can we brainstorm ways to support and protect those who might have information but are too scared to speak out? The impact of losing loved ones in this manner is unimaginable, and I wish there were more we could do to bring some peace to their families. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
