I came across this tragic case of Marni Pharis-Shrum and Jay Shrum, and my heart goes out to Marni's family and friends. I can’t help but think about how difficult it must have been for the officers who responded to the scene and had to relay the devastating news to their loved ones. It’s so important for us to recognize the signs of domestic violence and to support those who may be suffering in silence. I hope this case serves as an eye-opener to everyone in the community about the seriousness of domestic violence and the importance of reaching out for help or providing support to those in need. My deepest sympathies to Marni's children and her parents during this incredibly difficult time.
