Hey everyone, I've been reading up on the Shotgun Stalker case and something that really hit me was the quick response from the community in the aftermath of these senseless attacks. It's incredible how the residents of Columbia Heights and Mount Pleasant came together to support each other during such a terrifying time. The loss of Edward Fleming and the other victims was a wound no one was prepared for, but the community's resilience was truly admirable. From neighborhood meetings to candlelight vigils, people banded together to honor the lives lost and take back their sense of safety. It's a testament to the strength and solidarity of these neighborhoods that they were able to find some sense of unity amid such chaos. My heart goes out to Edward's family and all those affected. Being from D.C. myself, I can't help but feel a connection to their shared grief and hope for continued healing.
