It’s often these small, personal details that truly underscore the enormity of the loss. It makes me wonder about the mental health services available (or lack thereof) for individuals like the shooter, Aaron Alexis, who clearly needed support long before that day. It’s crucial that we address these issues with more urgency if we want to prevent such tragedies in the future. My heart goes out to John's family and all the victims’ families—may they find a semblance of peace amidst the chaos.
